Our History
It all began in 1999. Brian Anderson was serving as a full-time pastor of Milpitas Bible Fellowship. He had become interested in planting house churches, but knew that to do this he would have to figure out a way to provide for the needs of his family. A friend suggested window cleaning and Brian thought, “You know… I bet I could do that!” One thing led to another, and soon Brian was working for a local window cleaning company part-time near Milpitas, while he pastored part-time. For a little over a year, Brian learned the window cleaning trade, until in December, 2000, he and his family moved to Sonora (a little town up in the foothills east of Modesto) to plant house churches and provide for his family by starting a window cleaning business there. So, for the next eight years, Brian helped start house churches up in Sonora, while building his little window cleaning business. Along the way, Brian began to add gutter cleaning, and pressure washing to his list of services, and his little business began to thrive.
Later, in 2008, Brian and his wife, Debbie, moved to the Sacramento area to continue planting house churches and restart the business there. The first year was touch and go, because there were zero customers. Brian walked or rode a little scooter from house to house for the first five months, every day, from 8 am to 5 pm putting postcards on doors, and slowly but surely, a little business began to trickle in. Later he added a web site, and more business began to come in. The year 2009 was very modest, but the business almost doubled in 2010, and then has grown steadily ever year since.
As of September, 2021, there are 10 employees besides Brian, including Brian’s wife, Debbie, as the Finance Manager, an Operations Manager, an Office Assistant, and 7 full-time Technicians. We have grown to 9 company vehicles, and are able to do some very large jobs. We have currently served about 7,000 clients, and are experiencing explosive growth.
How did all this happen? Beats me! Well, to give the credit where it surely belongs, it is due to the Lord’s rich and undeserved blessing and grace. And, somewhere along the line, Brian discovered that there was an entrepreneur inside of himself as well as a pastor. He has enjoyed building this business into something the Master might be pleased with. More about that under our Core Values…
