Our Core Values
Over the years, we have identified our Core Values – in other words, what is at the core of what we value as a business. Eventually, we discovered five of them that were there all along. We just had to see them and verbalize them. Our five core values spell the word “GRIPS.”
We thrive on getting better and better at what we do. Whether, it is improving the quality of our customer service, or the actual jobs themselves, we want to continue to excel year after year. We never want to become complacent, and settle for the status quo. It is for this reason, that we are continually looking for new and better tools, and educating ourselves, so that we truly are the leading experts in our field. We think our clients appreciate this, and we find it satisfying ourselves.
If we tell a customer we are going to do something, then we make every effort to do it. Occasionally, despite our best efforts, we are unable to make good on a commitment. Sometimes it is due to bad weather, or an employee getting injured or sick. But we value reliability, and strive to be the kind of company our clients can rely on. Our Technicians work in the rain, cold, and 100 plus degree weather, so that we can reliably take care of our clients and their needs.
At the core of who we are is the quality of integrity. In other words, we strive to be worthy of our client’s trust in all areas. If one of our clients schedules us to go out and clean their gutters, and when we show up, we don’t see anything in their gutters to clean, we climb down off the ladder, tell the customer the truth, and let them know there is no point in paying us to do the job. If one of our Technicians accidentally breaks something at a client’s home, instead of sweeping it under the rug, and hoping the home owner doesn’t notice, we immediately bring it to their attention, and do whatever is necessary to make things right.
Within our company, we value being a team player. “All for one, and one for all” is our motto. In this dog-eat-dog world, where everyone looks out only for themselves, it is good remember the words of the best selling book of all time, “do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others” (Phil. 2:4). When one Technician is done with his own jobs for the day, he calls in to find out if any of the other Technicians are having a hard time finishing their jobs, and volunteers to help them. We care about one another in our Team, and strive to help one another.
Our customer is the reason we are even in business to begin with, and is the reason for our success. We take their happiness with our service extremely seriously. That’s why we ask every client how we did on each job. That’s why, if there is ever an issue, we contact the client and seek to make things right. That’s why we keep track of each of our Technician’s quality score, and reward them based on how well they are doing at making their clients happy. Your happiness is our #1 goal. We hope that it shows!
